400 miles in 4 days. Would we accomplish such a feat and still be speaking to one another at the end of the road? What about weight & ride handicapping, how much did people carry for other people, after all? Would we be ready to accept the dangers of the UP? Would the UP be prepared to face the Gogebic 6? Would our families be willing to drive 400 miles in order to meet us at Jack's Cabin? We searched for the answers to these questions and so much more.

Does Eligio have Common Sense?
By day 3 some of the crew was ready to be done with this ride. After all, riding the heaviest bike, carrying the heaviest load, slowing down for the pokey ones who always want to spin easy and stop at a 7-11 or to look at a dead porcupine. Really, EP on day three began threatening that he would add another 85 miles to the ride and finish the whole thing once and for all. Mike agreed that it was possible but at least he saw the pain and fear in the eyes of some of our companions. It was suggested, at least once during our ride, that perhaps, and I quote, "Does Eligio have common sense?"
