Casa Muffa, or The Zuccarino-Crowe's Getaway in the North Woods

Yes, Jack delivered, and HOW. This man talks incessantly about the beauty of Long Lake and the calm of his lake cabin and for good reason. This place is heaven on earth and from an Oregon girl this is tremendous praise.  From the moment we arrived until the (sniff sniff) moment we left, we were not wanting for any sort of recreation, physical beauty, rest place, drink, food, and on and on.  Ave and Jack, but especially Ave (I think) have truly built out of the rubble of a moldy old cabin a delightful home with beautiful handcrafted furniture, outdoor shower, rock walkways gardens, a veritable compound for what became a party of 20 to enjoy for the evening of our arrival.  The fact that there actually WERE 5 hammocks situated strategically throughout the property and there WERE kayaks and windsurfing equipment, and swimming area and floating trampoline and trails and trees and quiet was beyond perfect.
